Carrying a life is an incredibly positive and harmonising experience, and a maternity portrait session will remind you of the changing curves of your body during this unique and special time.
You want a record of your pregnancy but maybe you don’t feel amazing…
We totally understand! Your body has changed and taken on a new little life inside. Even though this is a miraculous time you don’t always feel amazing and glowing… this is where we can help you - we specialise in making mums-to-be bloom in front of the camera, looking and feeling your best.
Maternity photos are a beautiful record of your baby growing inside, supported and nurtured by you.
Whether this is your first or fourth child each pregnancy is unique and we would love to capture that for you.
We understand that the changes in your body might make you want to shy away from the camera but our relaxed and friendly approach, together with our expertise in posing and lighting, will capture images of this special time that you can treasure for a lifetime and show your child how you were there for them from the very beginning.

We recommend scheduling your session between 30-34 weeks of your pregnancy but this can obviously be different depending on your circumstances.

Yes of course! It's a special time for all of you so they are very welcome.

We have a variety of dresses, shawls and hats available for you to wear as well as lots of different colour sheer materials and flowers. You are very welcome to bring your own selection of clothing ~ remember that close fitting will show off your bump best. Please bring a nicely fitted set of underwear with you and, if you’re considering implied nude shots, then a pair of nude knickers is very helpful. Typical props to bring along are baby shoes and a scan photo, but you can bring anything you would like to make the session personal to you.

It’s entirely your choice! You don’t need to decide until you’re in your session and there’s no pressure either way. If you do choose to have nude or implied nude portraits we maintain your privacy and dignity at all times. We have a changing room and clean fresh robes available for you to use. We’ve never had a lady regret doing nudes but we have had several regret not doing them ~ just something to consider…Nothing is shared online without your permission ~ they are your portraits and your privacy is guaranteed.

Yes… but with the posing skills we’ll teach you and the lighting techniques we’ll use we won’t really need to! If you have any scars, tattoos, stretchmarks etc that you would like us to remove just let us know. Though we think they are beautiful and are a part of your story so, unless you request it, they will be left in. You’ve earned your tiger stripes and it’s ok to be proud of them!
